O livro Makeup Masterclass (1), da maquilhadora australiana Rae Morris, foi lançado há pouco tempo e pelo pouco que consegui ver, tem imagens lindas, começando pela capa.
Não sou muito de comprar máscaras de várias marcas, mas assim que vi que lançaram a versão waterproof da famosa Better Than Sex (2), da Too Faced, soube que a tinha que experimentar. Como só uso máscara à prova de água - as únicas fórmulas que fazem as minhas pestanas ficarem curvadas o dia inteiro - só me interesso por máscaras para o meu kit profissional, que tendem a ser também diferentes do que eu uso no dia-a-dia. Espero maravilhas deste produto e não me contento por menos que pestanas mega volumosas. Ando também super curiosa para experimentar os novos lápis da linha Aqua, os Aqua XL (5) da Make Up For Ever. Acho que a escolha do lápis de olhos perfeito é sempre uma constante na vida da maioria das mulheres, ainda mais na vida de uma maquilhadora. O que mais dou importância é a durabilidade e pigmentação, que eles prometem ser muito boa. A paleta de sombras Tartelette 2 da Tarte (4) é o meu guilty pleasure por ser mais uma paleta de tons neutros. Não há como escapar, sinto-me sempre a ser puxada para este tipo de produtos, para além de que queria muito testar esta marca.
Para acabar, já há largos meses que ando de olho no Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Serum da Aesop (3) - sinto que a minha pele precisa de algum amor e carinho e este sérum vinha mesmo a calhar nesta estação, um boost de hidratação para a minha pele demasiado sensível.

The Makeup Masterclass book (1), written by the Australian makeup artist
Rae Morris, has recently been launched and from what I’ve seen, it’s full of
beautiful images starting with that stunning cover.
I’m not too keen on buying mascaras from different brand, but as soon as
I realised the waterproof version of the famous Better Than Sex (2) by Too
Faced was launched, I knew I needed to try it on myself. Since I always wear
waterproof mascara – the only formulas that keep my lashes curled all day long –
I’m only interested in mascaras in general for my professional kit, which are
usually very different from what I wear on a daily basis. I expect wonders from
this product and won’t settle for less than lush lashes. I’m also very curious
to try the new Aqua XL (5), by Make Up For Ever. The search for the perfect eye
pencil is a constant in most women’s lives, more even in the life of a makeup
artist. What I care about the most is its durability and pigmentation, which
they promise to be great. The Tartelette 2 (4) by Tarte, because it’s another
neutral tone palette, I consider it to be my guilty pleasure. There’s no
escaping – I always feel pulled towards these types of products – and I also
really wanted to test out something from the brand.
To finish off, I’ve been keeping an eye on
the Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Serum by Aesop (3) – I feel like my skin needs
some love and care and this serum would be perfect this season, a boost of
hydration my sensitive skin so needs.
